The Rampaging Hulk
The Rampaging Hulk The Rampaging Hulk is a black-and-white magazine published by Curtis Magazines (an imprint of Marvel Comics) from 1977–1978. With issue #10, it changed its format to color, and title to The Hulk!, and ran another 17 issues before it folded in 1981. It was a rare attempt by Marvel to mix their superhero characters with the "mature readers" black-and-white magazine format. With the change to color and the title to The Hulk!, the magazine became Marvel's attempt to cash in on the popularity of The Incredible Hulk TV series, starring Bill Bixby and Lou Ferrigno, both of whom were prominently featured and interviewed over the course of the magazine's run, as was executive producer Kenneth Johnson. |

The Hulk covers above are waaay superior to the modern ones on the previous page. Most of them are too jumbled. It must be a pre requisite of cover art nowadays. |

According to the review I've just been reading, there's a flashback: "However, Assimilation 2 #3 also has a flashback of sorts. For various plot or artistic reasons, this section has its own art style. Whilst this is justified, maybe even a rather clever use of the time-travel/dimensional aspect, the art is this section is almost the opposite of whats been seen. Here, there is certainly a lot of definition, but very little colour or depth. Finally, this segment also features Captain Kirk and the Fourth Doctor – this isn’t a spoiler, its on the front cover. Depending on how you feel about the older material from these shows, this might further sway your final opinion."
