It just goes to show the power of films on a young mind As a (disturbing) sidebar to this, when I saw 'The Birth Of A Nation', it was so powerful, I was left fully supporting the KKK - God knows the effect this film must have had on people in the Southern States of America when it was first released in 1915 (considering slavery had been abolished and African Americans were given their freedom and citizenship less than 50 years previously)
