Here's a link to the differences between the cinema- and unrated version of the remake of "Last House on the Left"- sadly in German, but with pictured shot comparisons of the alternate scenes.
I STRONLY suggest only those, who've seen the movie already, to take a look, as the list of cuts contains obviously spoilers:

(SPOILER ON: The biggest changes are to the rape scene whereas the "revenge" part has been left untouched by the MPAA in the theatrical version. SPOILER OFF)

The unrated version is being released over here in October, Peter.

Looking forward to it.

It would be nice if they could release both versions here like they have done in the US.

It might not sound like a huge thing to you guys, but the German BPJM actually took several genre classics FINALLY OFF the "Index of Restricted Movies", namely John Carpenter's "The Thing" and "Friday, the 13th Parts 2,5,6,7 and 8".

This means the distributor can FINALLY get a bulletproof "FSK" rating for these titles, so that they can be openly sold and advertised in shops and via the net.

In the menatime, "The Thing" even managed to score an "FSK 16" (!) rating.

I always find it funny how hard the German censors are on horror, yet wandering into any sex shop there you could find all sorts of depravity that imo would corrupt the youth more than The Thing.

Well, it's not like you get porn in every grocery in Germany...but essentially you have a point there, vips!

The German censor's take usually is "sex = good, violence = evil"... with the odd exception of (for instance) various brutal Cannes winners slipping through with a liberal "FSK 16" ("Wild at Heart", "Pulp Fiction" etc).
As long as something is widely embraced as "art", they're very relaxed.
Too bad though if you have a violent movie for mere entertaining purposes to get through their scissor-happy clutches...

Then again, I applaud them for finally letting "The Thing" and the "Fridays" off the hook, although they just recently EXTENDED the original "Friday's" stay on the "Index" for another 25 (!) years and parts 3 and 4 are still very much banned over there....

Does anyone know if the BluRay WWE WrestleMania XXIV is cut.?

I know its common for wrestling titles to be either pre cut or bbfc cut for certain actions.
