The Zebra scene looks like it had been arranged by the filmakers. I'm not to sure about the other two scenes i mentioned. There are a few other animal bits that i cant remember. Oh there is another scene showing a cow with its tendons sliced that lookes like it has been staged for the camera. |

Been a while since I last saw it but from what I can remember nearly all of it was stock footage filmed during Africa's 'de-colonisation'. The hippo & elephant scenes are grotesque. |

Thanks. Scenes that looked staged are likely to go.

I have only seen it once, like vince said with the Animals film its not a film you want to revisit again.

I would like to see Franco Prosperi's non mondo film Wild Beasts get a release but it would definitely suffer cuts.

As a matter of interest which Mondo films would get through uncut? Would any? |

I have only seen two Africa Addio and Addio Zio Tom and the would both suffer cuts. I have Women of the World that i will watch in the next few days. |

I'd say the Zebra footage looked the most obviously staged as mentioned already. As Vin mentioned the spearings of Hippos & Elephants are very difficult to watch.
