One must remember what happened just before this with the director's NUTBAG, which required 7m of cuts. And there is no way that this will ever get through unscathed here either. And Murder Set Pieces is a lot more extreme. The BBFC pass Gutterballs uncut? No chance. The 10m gang rape will require substantial cuts for an 18. This is an exploitation film completely devoid of any artistic merit. The hard core sex scene should pass though. It is extremely doubtful that any of the August Undergrounds will ever find their way to the BBFC, and their response would be merciless if anyone was stupid enough to do so. Then again I often hear that they want the films to be banned here so they can sell more copies in the States. Perhaps not so dumb. Nekromantik Would it pass? I see no reason why not, especially as they have already approved the first film at a recent film festival. Neither film contains anything illegal. I have to admit I have a soft spot for these 2 films as unpleasant as they are, and would like to see them released here but I doubt they will ever be submitted. The Guinea Pig Films Again it's extremely doubtful these films will ever be submitted to the BBFC. No sexual violence in these films means it's highly unlikely there would be any serious issues today. Grotesque The violence is no worse than in numerous torture porn films the BBFC have passed in recent years and had the film ended with the killer being apprehended by the police and then given a 30 years prison sentence then there is little doubt they would have considered passing it albeit with cuts to the sexual violence in the earlier part of the film. But as things stood their view was that the film revelled in its scenes of sadistic violence for it's own sake. Personally I can see the film passing with cuts in the not too distant future. And New York Ripper It will pass uncut on the day the BBFC pass House on the Edge of the Park uncut. And Vice versa. |

I recently watched Lucifer Valentine's Vomit Gore Trilogy. As far as a UK release, those films have absolutely no chance. None at all. In fact, the August Underground Trilogy has a better chance of getting a UK release date, and that is saying something. Worth watching, IMO.

![]() Even tho I love exploitation films, the full and uncut 'Gutterballs' is nothing more than offensive transphobic rubbish

If you can ignore the cheesy director moniker (LV - he's a pretend Satanist), the films actually have a queer artistic value, or at least they have their own unmistakable style. ReGOREgitated Sacrifice is an unforgettable experience. The Bunny Game, however, is just trash, but that comes down to it being a very repetitive and unimaginative film. I wonder where the BBFC's stance would be on Philosophy of a Knife. The film is nigh on unwatchable, but is not intended to be any fun.

I haven't seen that one yet. I need to find a download for it. I'm watching Murder Set Pieces at the moment and it's awful, from what I've seen so far. I'll report on its content once I watch it. Here's a list of stuff I've seen. The Human Centipede II: Very hard to watch (it's a completely repulsive film) and heavily cut on BBFC release. No chance of passing in full. The Vomit Gore Trilogy (Slaughtered Vomit Dolls, ReGOREgitated Sacrifice, Slow Torture Puke Chamber): No chance of release in any form. The August Underground Trilogy: No chance of getting uncut releases: would probably pass with heavy cuts. Grotesque: Has no chance. A Serbian Film: Will not get passed uncut: cut heavily in current form. Guinea Pig series: He Never Dies, Devil Woman Doctor and Android of Notre Dame would pass uncut. Only the last of these is any good, though. The first two films will no doubt stay banned, but the first is monotonous rubbish. Mermaid in a Manhole, curiously, could possibly be passed in full, if the censors were feeling lenient, because of a near-lack of problem content. It is, however, the most disgusting of the bunch, and the one that takes longest to erase the memory of. Those tubifex worms will make you ill. The Bunny Game: Has no chance. Not recommended, though. Philosophy of a Knife: Unspeakably gruelling. One scene (involving a cockroach) would undoubtedly be cut under current guidelines. The rest may be regarded as a puritanical political art film, if the censors were feeling lenient. Fairly doubtful, though. Makes the infamous Black Sun: Nanking Massacre (uncut but out of print, btw, unlike Men Behind the Sun by the same director) look like Peter Pan. Entrails of a Virgin: Would probably be passed with some major cuts as per BBFC guidelines on sexualised violence, but nonetheless pretty dreadful. Nekromantik 1 and 2: Will never see the light of day. Last edited by Robbmeister X; 7th December 2013 at 10:54 AM. |
