Oh my,that's expensive.
And Pete got his for 16.99?
Was that also when it was released?
But I think it certainly will be worth that again once it's oop though...

I think it was around the time it was released. It was really expensive for a bare-bones release too, but I didn't want to import it or anything so I bought it.

This is on my LoveFilm list but they're taking their time sending it out to me... May have to buy it at this rate!

I actually ordered it from Play in order to get the few pennies from Quidco! It was the same price so thought 'why not?'

It is a cooperative cashback website which a lot of online companies have joined so when you visit a website and make a purchase via their referral link, you earn a slice back. They take the first £5 per year but I still make about £100 back each year.

This is the third time I've bought this - but this new release is easily the best. It's seems strange to say about a Giallo film but it actually makes a bit more sense now - even the dream sequences! Stanley Baker was really a fantastic actor - a while ago I saw the re-release of Accident and he was completely brilliant (and completely different) in that too - he must be one of the great English actors. Of course mostly I was checking out Florinda Bolkan - who is really great and very convincing in a really strange role. Fulci's version of London that we see in this film is also wonderfully odd and he makes great use of (as usual mostly derelict) Alexandra Palace and I really liked the attention to detail in the film - Inspector Corvin using a pack of matches from Annabel's and Joan Hammond carrying a Biba bag. I know people criticize Fulci's films for being a bit ramshackle but here someone was definitely paying attention.

The DVD really is a nice improvement to the american DVD. Will the Label release more DVDs like this now?
