Is it the same version as SS second release?

Now this presentation seems to be the same cut, barring the AIP logo, as the remastered edition that Michael reviewed here before as it features the three added sequences in Italian dialogue along with the often cut vivisection scene. The quality of these inserted scenes is far inferior to the rest

I thought that the Shriek Show remastered DVD, which featured both the Italian and English dubs, was a very good release with interesting extras and, for the most part, good image quality.

Me too! But most people on this forum seems to hate it and calling it a Frankenstein version! Theres even people who likes the first version from SS even better!! I just feel that i really must know what scenes are added before tripple dipping!!

Anyone who prefers the original Shriek Show to the remastered release needs their head looking at. I can't see why anyone would think that the latter is anything but a solid release.

I agree, we need to know details of the differences between the Shriek Show remastered DVD and the new Optimum one.

Am I the only person here who's bought the new Lizard DVD? I haven't watched it yet so I can't comment on the quality of the previous missing scenes and if it's more or less the 2nd SS DVD. I can tell you all that the picture quality of the bits I watched is fanstic.
