The only console I have problems with on modern TV's is the N64, everything else looks fine IMO. Instead I play through my laptop with one of these and it looks much better.

Yeah, I don't have the space currently either! When we move though, I'll have all my game stuff in the spare room on a shelving unit, just take down the one I want to play and plug it in! I'll have my second 360 up there too, so I'll probably put in a small LCD or PC monitor as well.

Might have to give that a try! My Gamecube and N64 look terrible through my second TV (32" Bravia - haven't even tried to run it through the main one). The PS2 looks OK using a component cable. SNES, NES and look OK, but a bit pixellated (more than usual) and the Mega Drive and PlayStation look marginally better (via SCART). I'm still planning on picking up a >26" CRT though, I reckon it'll cost peanuts and look cosmic.

Ahh and I take it that's how you do screenshots too?

It's a pain the arse to set up but once you do it's great.

Forgot about the Gamecube! Yeah, it doesn't look too good when played through a modern TV. My GC also has a 'Gameboy Player' which allows you to play GBA games on your TV. I haven't tried it yet but I imagine GBA games will look awful on a newer set up. Aside from the Gamecube and N64, my other consoles look fine to me, though, annoyingly, the Lightgun from my Sega Saturn isn't compatible with modern telly's.

Yup and videos. Only use it for console games though - for PC games I use Fraps.

I've played a bit, while certainly not as good as Vanquish and Bayonetta, it's still the zany insanity gaming I feel needs more of nowadays.
