Don't tell Mr Sony but I ordered an Xbox Series X console from Currys PC World today (they currently have stock). It's actually a 479 pounds bundle with the console and three months of game pass ultimate. Should be delivered next week.

Went with Series X because of full backward compatibility and because Microsoft bought Bethesda (there's a good chance that Elder Scrolls 6 will be Xbox exclusive, or at least a timed exclusive).

Also my wife loved Outer Worlds and the sequel is Xbox only. Will also be nice to replay Burnout Revenge again and Elder Scrolls Oblivion looks excellent on series X - will blow away our old PS3 copy. Can't wait to see what games look like in 4K resolution.

Sony really need to get something to compete with gamepass. Love sony exclusives but don't think that will be enough this gen with ..Microsoft having Game pass and the exclusives they could have we the developers they bought

Only have the series S myself but it's amazing little machine for its price.

I tried out a free one week trial of PlayStation Now quite recently and felt a bit disappointed. I chose not to subscribe to it. I'm hoping that I get on better with Game Pass.

The Series X has crazy speed when it comes to load times you barely have time to look at the tutorials while levels load in its crazy.
