Pick either a Samsung Spinpoint F1 or an F3 - avoid F2 and / or "Eco" at all costs.

Greetings!

Thanks,I'll have a look at those.
Are there also smaller ones than 1TB?

Why would you want a smaller one? They're only a tiny bit cheaper.

Believe me - a hard drive is never too big.

I've got two computers with 1 TB internal HDD space each plus two big external hard drives (one with 500 GB, one with 2 TB) plus one small portable hard drive (500 GB), and I already know at the beginning of February that I'll have to buy at least one more this year.

Greetings!

2nd when i want to do something like open my itunes i click on the icon and there two things it either does 1 takes about a good 5min to register and open up or doesnt register at all and i spend next 20min clicking it constantly same with most things,

Sorry to say, but as it freezes or hangs if you hear a clicking or ticking noise your Hard drive may be on the way out, back up everything if so, if I remember right, my HDD failed 3 months after the noises started, it kept freezing up too.

Itunes is a program that uses a lot of resources,so if your computer is not top notch it could hang when running it.

If you use it as a slave (for files only) maybe bigger is better but if used for the operating system + programs only smaller is better according to what I've read.

Opera is running faster again after I cleared my cache.
Totally forgot about deleting it (normally I do that from time to time as it makes your browser faster again).
I just deleted the temp files not the cookies btw.

Will keep an eye on it but still thinking about switching browser.

My new Windows user account pic.

It's really easy to make them yourself or if you're using XP/Vista you can import some of the Windows 7 ones.

Download Windows 7 Build 7057 Wallpapers & User Account Pictures

Just select the ones you want after unpacking the compressed folder and copy them in the default folder.

I've just had a quick look through this thread so sorry if it's already been mentioned but I suggest everyone download CCleaner and run it weekly. You can select to keep cookies, auto form, etc. You'll be surprised at the amount of space being taken up by useless temp files.
