Nice ones BE!
Keep us updated about how that shop works out.
At least it's not located in Jersey (I think?).

the blob 25th February 2011 09:44 PM

I used to use dvd.co.uk a fair amount back in the early to mid 00's. Always reliable then but been no idea how they've been recently. On my old experiences alone though, I wouldn't hesitate to use them and give them a shot these days.

I want to get The Innocents myself, looks good and I've never seen it, I've got Salo but not watched it yet (even though I have seen it before) and that other one I know is definately not my cup of tea.

I guess reason y we sometimes own naff or rubbish films is because if we have the 1st 2 3 of films and they release another one then it automaticaly we buy it to go with the collection no matter how bad it is, because it just wouldnt look right if we got 1 missing, and they are planning a Creepshow 4 i havent seen 3rd one yet but im guessing with the slagging off its getting i shouldnt bother either,

I wouldn't recommend Creepshow 3 to anyone. I don't want to be responsible for them losing that hour and a half that they could have used to do something worthwhile.

Excellent choices. Aaaahhhh Exit Wounds, the film that looked like Seagal was back on top, and back to cinemas.....only to begin his walk on the long dark straight to dvd road!

pedromonkey 26th February 2011 03:52 PM

never seen Exit Wounds Stephen, is it a yay or a nay, looks cool. It was either that or The Glimmer Man, what i really wanted was Marked For Death.

I've never seen Exit Wounds either, so will be interested in what Stephen has to say! Actually, I'm not the world's biggest Stephen Seagal fan but Under Siege is one of my guilty pleasures and has been since I first saw it when I was about 12.

im not a big fan, but when there's nothing on and i can't be arsed watching a challenging film, a bit of Seagal goes down well. only ever seen maybe 5 or six of his films...

I would say Exit Wounds is his last really good film (and this is from someone who buys all his new films). It was made by the same people who did Romeo Must Die and Cradle 2 The Grave, so if you've seen those, it should give you an idea of what to expect. It's not Out For Justice, but it's certainly not Attack Force.

Yeah, it's hard to tell from the cover, but the one in the yellow dress does nothing for me.

 I was actually talking about the one behind her, Rumer Willis. I'm no oil painting, so shouldn't talk, but it's frightening to see that the offspring of Demi Moore and Bruce Willis bears a striking resemblance to Robert Z'dar!

From the cover she appears to me as one of the best looking of the lot... google images tells a completely different story though: Robert Z'dar indeed!

I don't own this on any format as I'm waiting for the price to drop, but £8 is fairly cheap. I'm not quite sure why I want to own it simply because of
SPOILER:
one of the most downbeat endings in cinematic history which leaves you on a downer that goes way beyond Night of the Living Dead!
