Received tales that witness madness today and still waiting on the prowler, starcrash and
the scream queen doc 'screaming in high heels'.

Hold on up!

Reading through the book 'Pocket Essential Films: Jackie Chan', by Michelle Le Blanc and Colin Odell, it seems that this film might actually be 'Project S' (aka 'Supercop II')

It's damn confusing, when a film is given a myriad of titles!!!!!!

I don't have a comprehensive list, but I think the directors cut has additional sex, nudity, violence and gore.

For about 5.89 this double bill represented good value for money.

Nice spot. I ordered myself a copy since it's region-free. Although I paid £6.91 in total, so it may have gone up slightly since you ordered it. :)

still good at that price imo. Theres also a (dearer) release of Dr giggles/otis http://www.amazon.co.uk/Dr-Gigglges-...I1AQFMKNCVI69I

As well as ones for bloodsport/timecop. Thirteen ghosts/house of wax... reasonably priced.

Halloween 3/4 anchor bay blus turned up this morning. Region locked. Had a quick scan through them, theres not as much in the way of extras as origionally promised but still commentary tracks and stuff, and whoever it was on amazon.com moaning about the pq... well they actually look great. No DNR very natural and with plenty of detail.

Yeah if its the Michelle Yeoh film with the Jackie Chan drag cameo then its actually Project S which is a spin off from Police Story 3. Police Story 3 doesn't have a UK DVD release.

I was just wondering if it had something to do with the sculpture on Milton's wall being censored from all other releases. But I'll take more violence and gore.

Not a fan then no.

nekromantik 11th September 2012 05:49 PM

I just spent £17 on the French Silent Hill 2 disc blu ray.
As part 2 is out soon and looks awesome I thought its about time I double dip for a HD copy and the UK one is not meant to be a very good copy just like the US.

As that had to be censored for legal reasons, I can't find anything about it changing for the DC, so must be violence and gore!

I just sent an email asking if there will be another edition after the limited one, that will be cheaper. If not, I might wait till Christmas to grab this one.

My 4-disc Texas Chainsaw Massacre BD/dvd arrived today. Thought I should get it before Chainsaw 2 is released. Pity the bottom of the slipcase is crushed from the shrinkwrapping! They really need to make all slipcases as sturdy as the US Close Encounters box.

Texas Chainsaw Massacre

Got very tempted to buy this when I was in Germany last month. It was 30 euros in Saturn and 31 in MediaMarkt so £24 sounds a pretty decent price.
