Just watched CROSS OF IRON on blu ray and I am in awe, both of the incredible picture and audio quality (PQ really is top notch, with Peckinpah's trademark slo-mo style being AMAZING to watch in HD) and the film itself, which to my mind is about as good a war movie could possibly get. Its by no means an epic, like Apocalypse Now but more intimate, personal and claustrophobic. Coburn should have won an oscar!

Nice pickup, Reaps -- is your pile of unwatched discs as big as mine, with well over 100 titles?

Maybe in the region of 300 Nos!

I just keep buying them and stacking them!

A lot of those DVD's I was getting rid of aren't even opened!

I think it was only a matter of time -- you know all these titles would eventually persuades him that multi-region is the way to go!
