Have you seen The Piano Tuner of Earthquakes from the Brothers Quay?

A fine fantasy film.

Just ordered the Odeon dvd of JP Simon's JOURNEY TO THE CENTER OF THE EARTH and the Italian DVD of CHOKE CANYON. Both were available from Code Red but are oop and commanding ridiculous prices on Amazon.

I was a bit 'meh' about CHOKE CANYON, but then I found out it was co-written by Alfonso Brescia and it suddenly became a must buy!

Default Universal blu ray

Buying a universal blu ray is best investment..if u are in USA and love these movies,it's a MUST investment. So many great titles I've gotten. Suspiria,Hammer Movies,Markmof Devil, etc.I could go on on (Demons ,SilentRunning). These movies aren't going make it to blu ray here..or not for longgg time. I got my LG universal blu ray player for 200 USD. And that's just blu rays. Let's not forget DVDs not available in states..ie, THE DEVILS,BLOOD ON SATANS CLAW). Those 2 alone are worth 200 bucks

I absolutely adore The Rise and Rise of Michael Rimmer, always good for a laugh. I think I'll have to dig it out and watch it again next week, you've put me in the mood for it.

The Reptile
Always loved this Hammer horror and seeing it in all its glory on this superb BD makes me love it even more. Surprisingly gruesome in places and with a few jump shocks thrown in too. This may be classed as a minor production but it looks superb. A Hammer gem.

I heard back from Movietyme regarding the My Bloody Valentine disc I was sent...

Stephen:
We received "My Bloody Valentine" Blu-ray that you have there as new from one of our suppliers. We are very sorry that you received a used disc...we were completely unaware that it was used. We had to order that title from a supplier that we dont normally use, but they were the only company that had it in stock...all of our regular suppliers list it as out of print. We will not use this supplier again!! Since this title is not available anywhere else..we can only issue you a refund. Please ship it back to us, and we will credit you for the cost of the disc..and the cost of shipping.

All's well that ends well then.
