going to get escape from new york was going for blu ray but from amazon reviews it seems to be horrible quality, does anyone on here have it or i'm i better getting the special edition dvd?

I've heard nothing but bad things, I'd get the dvd or wait for a re-release.

thanks. sometime you cant trust amazon reviews some people moan about the smallest problems.

Fully agreed, but in this case i've not heard anyone anywhere say a good thing about it.
