Not bought anything today, sold instead.
Took a stack of around 30 dvds into cash generators and came out with £9. Must have paid around £500 for that lot.
Sorry just wanted to moan somewhere.

I know from past experiences never to take ANYTHING to either Cash converters or Cash Generator because the give you shit for it. I'm sorry the same hint happened to you.

My local Cash Generator gives 35p per DVD no matter what it is. Which isn't great. (for blu rays they check amazon.co.uk and they give you 40% of the price on there). Sometimes you get even less at CEX - so its always worth checking on their site - but often they give a better price. Never tried Cash Converters.

I'm sure CC gives you about five pence per disc and that's not a joke. I don't even like the way they store the discs.

Popped into a charity shop at lunch and picked up...

Blue Velvet - R1 special edition of the Lynch classic.
Millers Crossing - still sealed special edition of a Coen film I'm yet to see.

Not bad!

Millers Crossing is okay. It's good in places, but one of the slowest films I've ever seen!

Blue Velvet is just 100 per cent Awesome. So strange you can hardly believe it!

Too hot for me today, but found the 'cut' 2003 Anchor Bay UK 2disc Last House on the Left for £1, in great nick, with booklet and slipcase.
(the tiny pic is all I could find)

Even cut, that's a nice find and despite the BBFC trims that version still retains it's bite, and there's some pretty worthwhile extras on that 2nd disc as well...

Once I took some DVDs into CEX only to check my receipt and they'd actually given me NOTHING - that's £0.00 - for one of them - what do they think it is, a frikkin charity??
