Well Spartacus is one of the three greatest epics of the golden era - the other two are Ben Hur and King of Kings (and both are highly recommended on Blu). I know its been done to death, but the scene where the Kirk Douglas' eyes fill with tears as his men chant I'm Spartacus is genuinely moving stuff... Marc, listen out for Anthony Hopkins voice dubbing Laurence Olivier in the scene where Olivier tries to seduce Tony Curtis. Olivier's declaration of his bisexuality was a bit too daring back in the day so it was removed from the film for nearly 30 years. When the scene was restored the audio was damaged so Hopkins stood in for Olivier. Good job he did too...
