Just picked up The Quiet Man on Blu for a tenner. One of my favourite films of all time.

Contributed $80 to the VinegarSyndrome.TV IndieGoGo campaign for the $65 perk plus shipping. Ended up pushing it over the $30,000 mark

This gets me the limited Len Anthony DVD, the mystery limited blu ray, and a year of streaming. Originally was going for this for the blu ray, but the more I look into it, the more exciting the streaming side is, as it offers 1080p versions of titles only on DVD, and will also have 1080p of the limited blus I imagine.

How bloody weird! I was just searching Amazon for the Miami Vice dvds. Unfortunately I'm passing on this set as one of the episodes was cut by our good friends at the BBFC,
MacBlayne and keirarts like this.

The usual. Cock fighting. Animal cruelty if the the makers arrange it themselves and film it, absolutely fine to be shown if they film a cockfight that was already taking place and they go film it. The crazy logic of the BBFC.

I also heard that you can appeal the cutting if you simply make up some old tosh that it's only edited to look like fighting.

I imported Ninja 2 from France because I got tired of the BBFC holding up its UK release. It had a cockfighting scene but there was no actual fighting, just some quick shots of two roosters raising their wings at each other (I assume they just used the old put two tom cats together trick). Needless to say, once it arrived in the UK, the scene was removed.

I've been on a bit of a Arrow Video frenzy.

I'm pretty happy as I was able to get this at the Arrow store for £12.29 using reward points. Looks like Zavvi is out of stock now.

Got these as well

Finally, these two on vinyl
