Yet more additions to the collection.

Finally managed to get Mondo Macabro's Bollywood horror vol.3 for a reasonable price from an Amazon seller which leaves only 3 more titles to complete my collection.
Spirited Away and Honeymoon (Thanks Cult Labs!!) were competition prizes.
Picked up 16 discs from Cash Generator's and charity stores for 69p - 99p including Fifth Estate on Blu-ray.

Picked these up on a town center crawl... the Lego PS2 games were 99p each in Oxfam, quite a bargain. Monkey business dvd was only 50p in CEX.

Newies

Charity shop:
The Hunger Games - £0:50
The Hunger Games: Catching Fire - £0:50
James Cameron's "Dark Angel": The Complete First Season - 6 disc - Very much a blind buy. I have never seen the show, and know very little about it, but at this price, I thought I couldn't go wrong - £0:50
The Killing II - Arrow Films - 3 Disc - Never seen the show, but it seems to get good reviews - £3:00

Amazon Marketplace
Rush R:30 - Blu-Ray - I already have the DVD release, but I was really annoyed to discover that it is missing 8 songs from the Blu-Ray, including many of my favourites ("Bravado", "One Little Victory", "By-Tor And The Snow Dog", "La Villa Strangiato", "YYZ", "Red Sector A", "The Trees", and "Secret Touch"), so I had to get it again - £8:99

Sadly, our Blu-Ray player seems to have thrown a wobbly, and it is refusing to play any discs. DVD's are fine, but Blu-Rays are not. I keep getting told 'it's an invalid disc', or 'there is no disc', or 'the disc is not formatted' etc, so I have an ever growing pile of things that I am unable to see

Sadly that sounds like the 'dual layer BD' killer, see if you can find a single layer BD(one without the wavy pattern) and try that, the fact it still plays dvd/cd means the assembly is fine but that tiny blu lens for BD is shot, short of changing the whole laser(easier and cheaper to buy a new budget BD player) not much can be done, I took mine to bits and cleaned it to an inch of it's life but the bugger still refused dual layer BDs.

to replace my worn out Philips I picked up my Panasonic BD for £49.99 new, so not too bad.
