I saw it on its premier on Film 4 (i think he did a cinema, dvd, and telly release on the same day didn't he? Good idea, more people should do it). Thought it was poor, although Michael Smiley is always worth watching. I remember him as 'Wheels' in Spaced, complete with pre-Hollywood bad teeth.

I watched it then too, and was so bored by it that I got up and went for a cig without waiting for an advert or pausing. I seem to remember being the only member here who didn't think it was any good.

We usually agree on stuff like this, so I expect to be bored beyond believed belief.

Ye Gads, no love for A Field In England?

1. the clue is in the title (most people in fields in England are there for only one reason.)
2. May I suggest one visits a field in England before watching... but only if you had a productive 'visit'
3. In this day and age for a film like this to get made by Wheatley after Kill list is a pretty brave statement.

In all seriousness tho give it another shot.
