I love the cover too, let us know what the transfer is like, particularly the audio - I might replace the Shameless one.

The Italian Four Flies has forced Italian subtitles during the English track, I'm sad to report. Here's comparisons of the 3 releases:

It's a shame about the subtitles, thanks for the link

Was it an NSPCC shop?

Frankly the PQ is no better than shameless release.

She's not a fave of mine at all, but others seem to like her.

I notice the linked item is now £12.99.
I wonder if it was an error. £3 seems a bit of a silly price. Have to see if Amazon dispatch.

I think the actual quality is a tiny bit better, but the main improvement is in the colour and contrast. It's just a shame about the subtitles.

Ordered the uncut German blu-ray of Never Say Never Again (the UK version is cut for horse cruelty - the animal falls badly into water). Cost me just over 10 pounds including delivery which isn't bad at all. I don't think that it is a very good Bond film but I wanted it to complete my 007 blu-ray collection. It has a pretty good opening scene, an enjoyable fight scene with Pat Roach, an excellent shark sequence and Max Von Sydow as Blofeld working in it's favour. Also interestingly, the first black Felix Leiter and a fun turn from Rowan Atkinson as a hapless intelligence operative. So it's not all bad. Terrible score though and surprisingly lacklustre direction from Irvin Kershner, and of course it's pretty much an unnecessary retread of the far superior Thunderball. But will still be a fun watch despite my issues with the film.
