I may be wrong, but I think these glasboxes are a little different than the old German vhs glasboxes and the jewel cases. Seems to be (to me anyway) a digipak inside the clear plastic case.

local charity shop had a basket labeled 'FOREIGN DVD 50p each' so I of course dived in but most looked like bootleg copies (photocopied covers, what a giveaway) but found these 2 legit r1 among them. so £1 well spent then.
