I always thought it was a kind of Giallo - though that could be completely wrong!

Not seen The Hindenburg in ages. Must add that to my rewatches. Nice steelbook by the way.
Spartacus and 10 commandments are the only two I've seen and commandments not seen since a kid, both the steel books are in the 2 for 25 deal.

It is a Poliziotteschi rather than a Giallo, but because it won the Oscar for best Foreign Language Film people like to get sniffy about it and pretend it's something else.

The Blu-ray is supposed to look stunning.

Not wanting to be one of those but it’s not a straight Poliziotteschi it’s a bit more procedural and has a streak of black humour but it’s definitely not giallo and it is fantastic. Highly recommended!

It's certainly listed by both Wiki and the Grindhouse Cinema Data Base as Poliziotteschi.

I suppose it's one of those like No, The Case is Happily Resolved from Year of Lead that is less easy to classify.

I'm not being an Oscars snob

It's about a currupt(ish) Italian copper so it fits the bill, but it's not really (ultra)violent and doesn't have any extremely dangerous car chases

From CEX
I’ll watch Carlito’s Way tomorrow so it had better be good lol, although it was only £3.50.

Also bought but not pictured, Argento’s Dracula dvd and What We Do In The Shadows blu from HMVs vampire offer, for some reason I got an additional £3 off for buying them both, it said perfect partners promotion on the receipt so they were £6.98 for the both.

Watched Dracula last night by the way… it was interesting haha, didn’t hate it lol.

King Kong looks the business by the way. I bought that like you, from Cex, last year. It wouldn't surprise me if i bought them both at the same time as well.

Yeah the cover is crap! But since it was less than a Starbucks I'm ok about it. It has a postcard inside with the same artwork, so the slip cover, the actual sleeve and the postcard all with the same bloody picture lol.

Looking forward to King Kong, not watched it since the cinema! 2005 apparently.

I don't have a postcard, just the slip and the actual sleeve.

I'm taking it back for a refund.
