Josie and the Pussycats is a proper fun film. Way better than people may think it is.

Doctor Who is on promotion in HMV (and Amazon) so they’re at a special price. Going to watch Who after work!

The Mezzotint is my favourite James story. I was thrilled when it was announced Mark Gatiss was going to make it and even more thrilled when i saw it.

That's easily the worst in my opinion. I'm still delighted it's been released though and look forward to seeing it again.

This weeks new arrivals.

Made a bit of a cock up with the Space 1999 thing. I thought Destination Moon Base Alpha was the name of the first two episodes turned into a film (They did that back then for export) but when i looked it's actually the film version of Bringers of Wonder which is slightly annoying. However the set was limited to 1000 copies and since i bought it from Network earlier this week it's now not listed. I guess i bought the very last one on sale seeing as it was a site exclusive.

Fiver in CEX. I’d been trying to think up horror-ish films I could watch with the kids and came up with this one. They love Gremlins and we watched all 7 (!) Tremors films over the summer.

I’ve only ever seen the first Critters film - I had a copy on video that I’d recorded off the tv. Watched it over and over again when I was younger, but haven’t seen it in years! Looking forward to giving it another watch soon
