Another Amazon pre-order cancelled because they haven't charged me for it on release date, estimated delivery Saturday, honestly. Picked up a copy in HMV. I love the choice of artworks, including the VHS cover, and on the back of the slip, the American poster.

| Amazon are launching a dedicated website for Ireland next year. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/c88z2np8lneo (We don't seem to have a thread for Amazon unless i overlooked it, but decided not to start one so thought this bit of news would be relevant here seeing as Amazon want to sell us stuff  )

Immortals and Paul W.S. Anderson's Three Musketeers on Italian dvds turned up yesterday. In case anyone is wondering why I would import discs like these (or even buy them in the first place), it's because they have anaglyph 3D discs inside. Watched Three Muskateers already, obviously it's a tough film to recommend  but it was still enjoyable to watch in 3D. Disc was completely English friendly, which was a relief since I couldn't find any info on these.Immortals looks like a 300 clone but since it'll be in 3D and is from the director of The Cell (which was certainly at least visually interesting), hopefully I'll have some fun with it. My Immortals sneak peek showed that there were some brief burnt-in Italian subs near the start, during some ancient language but hopefully that'll be the only time it happens. I'm just relieved that it won't be happening throughout, was worried that Italian subs might have been forced on these two Italian dvd sets.
