From Cex. A film i've not seen before but has been in my Eureka wishlist for ages.

For some reason i always call this film Irma La Vep, which when you psychoanalyse me probably means i want to see Shirley MacLaine in a latex catsuit.

Received the UK 4K UHD/blu-ray steelbook set of The Mandalorian season 3 today. The 1080p discs have regions ABC printed onto them so I could easily see a number of US folks wanting to import this UK set (as weirdly it didn't get 1080p versions in America, just 4K UHD format).

One of my favourite films from my younger years. Haven't seen it years but I couldn't resist this beautiful looking edition. 20250225_133426.jpg

Excellent! I forgot that was released yesterday. I'll pick one up next time I'm passing HMV.

I'm a little disappointed that the "40 page perfect bound booklet" is only pictures and features no writing on the film whatsoever. But it does say picture book on the special features listed on the back so I should have read more carefully.

Got some things for when I think my life is 'a bit too cozy' !

Amazon
Gaira Guts Trilogy - 88Films 3x DVD set - Blind buy, but I am under no illusion with regards to both the contents and the production values - UK$16.46
Snuff - Blue Underground DVD - According to the listing, it is a 'Region 1' release, but the zoomed in photo of the cover states it is 'Region 0'. I've seen it before, but the copy I had was an old nth generation one. I think it came from a pirate source because there were a lot of moments when the film was playing and the screen was filled with either a still image (while the audio continued) or a lot of static, so I am looking forward to watching a 'decent' copy. I'm also interested in the extras, which I hope will add to the myth of the film. Lastly, it's another 'nasty' I can add to the collection. - UK$16.18

eBay
Enter The Video Store - Arrow films standard edition Blu-Ray set - Mostly a blind buy. I used to have a copy of 'Dolls' on VHS, but the other films in the collection will be new to me - UK$22.45

I popped into HMV this morning after going to the barber and then getting a few bits from Superdrug, picking up the Blu-ray release of Bob Marley: One Love for ?6.99, a film I wanted to see at the cinema but couldn't find a showing that was convenient.

Just ordered this from Amazon, I'll hopefully watch over the weekend to mark Gene Hackman's sad passing.Screenshot_20250228_122734_Amazon%20Shopping.jpg
