Hope your having a great time in Japan.

Nice purchases, Nordy.

Pledge Night. Look out for Joey Belladonna as the young Sid and a soundtrack composed by his band.

A tale of two sisters is the only one I have seen. I'm looking forward to watching the rest.

I've never seen Rio Conchos. I hope you review it when you watch it. One i'm definitely interested in is I' Vampiri which i've also not seen.

They Came from Beyond Space is a bit of fun. I should upgrade my dvd now i know it has a nice slip case.

I really like The Earth Dies Screaming. I have that release you bought. It's a great low budget sci-fi horror, basically features Cybermen before they existed in Doctor Who.

Mill of the Stone Women i've seen a couple of times now. It's good, slightly slow but good. That's a great edition you picked up. Two extra versions of the film in the set.

Did you ever get Arrow's The House that Screamed? That's an excellent film.

I think it was Mojo, in the dim and distant past, that initially recommended it to me.

The reason i mentioned it was because i got it the same Christmas as i did Mill of the Stone Women.

I also got another excellent British chiller called Dark Places with Christopher Lee and Joan Collins. I always tend to lump the three together due to getting them the same time.

If it is the German Camera Obscura master that Koch Media ended up releasing, then I'm happy to report that it looks top notch. The Arrow disc was quite heavily window boxed in comparison - ditto with Blue Underground - lots of information missing from all sides and unlike Arrow, that German release had no noise reduction resulting in noticeably more detail. btw I still keep the BU disc as well as it has uniquely different colours which some do argue is more faithful to the theatrical look. Apologies to all here for this tedious post! btw I actually really rate Stendhal.
