My first online order in two months (15th Jan was my last). I plan to watch Demeter over Easter along with a couple of other specially selected films.

Another Star Trek post.

Decided that I would pick up a remastered First Contact blu-ray, it arrived yesterday. But I also picked up a second hand copy of Next Generation's Best of Both Worlds bd which I have never actually seen before.

This First Contact precursor was ordered from Music Magpie online via ebay. I find that when I use this firm, almost always the bd discs are in incredibly better condition than when buying from Cex. The disc was in mint condition.

It even came with the embossed multi-layered slipcover and protector which I have attempted to take a photo of. Quite often I see slipcovers as rather pointless but I can actually appreciate this one.

Some CEX pickups from a few days ago too. Still need to get the stickers off properly. Usually cex stickers come off easy enough but these are a pain.

And some other purchases over the past few weeks I think I've forgot to post.
The Studio Canal titles were in HMVs two for fifteen quid. The Cat and the Canary from Shamazon. And The Grudge Collection from Cex.20250319_124838.jpg

Thanks. It's the only one i don't own on Blu so i think i'll have a full series rewatch, or at least the first three, prior to watching this again.

I could have sworn you had the same box set as me - The Sylvester Stallone Collection - Cobra, Assassins, Tango & Cash, The Specialist, Demolition Man.

I remember posting about it when it was a tenner on Amazon.

Obviously not if you just bought Tango and Cash.
