Sadly I've always been jaded haha. Read Junkie when I was 12 etc, and I found that in the local second hand bookstore. Twas next to a copy of Dr Who & The Cave Monsters (Silurians novelisation) and they were sort of "stuck" together, so i got them both for 50p!!

The original Nosferatu remains a favourite, I picked up on the horror elements of the Charlton Heston sci-fi classics The Omega Man and Soylent Green as well. The Night of the Following Day with Brando and Richard Boone I found to be creepy effective villains, also dug the special atmosphere of Silent Running and the otherwordly weirdness of Polanski's The Tenent both still fascinating films to this day.

The Tenant is certainly an odd film for a child, I don't know what I would have made of it then but it's one of my all time favourite films now.

me too in fact I loved all 3 of them and I remember buying a set of them from our local video library and would often watch all 3 back to back. Just need parts 2 and 3 to hit blu-ray now so I can repeat the experience |

I don't know how I could forget. I mean they seem so tame but I suppose they're quite saucy but I grew up watching Carry On films, I was obsessed, still am I suppose. and Hairspray, my cousin had it on video, I must have been about 8 when I started to borrow it all the time to watch, I just loved it, still do. Her mum, my aunt, always used to give me a little bottle of Babycham at Christmas from the age of 5. I can't remember if I was allowed to drink it before breakfast though?!

I was always allowed a small glass of port on a Sunday night when i was young. Probably explains why i'm a drunkard as well. |

You neglected to mention the cravat and smoking jacket.

Something else sprang to mine whilst talking to someone about where I'd like to travel to, Foul Play, I loved it as a child, still do actually. I also forgot to mention Ruthless People and Outrageous Fortune (we watched a lot of Bette Midler films as mum is a HUGE Barry Manilow fan). All of these films I still very much enjoy.
