Great list, SJ. I've never thought of compiling a list of my top 100 favourite films as it's much too difficult to make a top 10 list in order! It's good to see Polanski, Romero and Hitchcock represented.

It's probably easier to do a top 100, as you just chuck in every film you can think of that you love, then start shuffling them around from there. Try it, folks . . .

Great list SJ - it must have been really tough deciding what to/what not to include. From your choices, it appears we have similar taste in films. I've been working on a Top 100 horror film list on and off for a couple of years now. Not an easy task! |

I did a top 20 favourite horror films list which then became a top 30 and then the top 50! I'm still not happy about the order, nor the ones which aren't there. It would probably be a never-ending task to list them all and put them in an order with which you are completely happy every time you look at it. I've just had a look through mine (link is below) and I'd love to completely reorder them (apart from the top five), but it would be a huge amount of work! All Time Top Horror Films
