Nice list, appreciate the honesty. The Lord of the Rings films are epic and nothing wrong with admitting they're in your top 5

Fresh off my mind my all time top 5 films (films that made me literally say Wow outloud after watching them)

Amelie
Warrior
I Saw The Devil
Dawn or Day of the Dead (can never make up my mind)

Nice pick with I Saw the Devil, ant. Overall I prefer your first list more, though.

...And the resurrection of this thread has reminded me that I've finally pulled my finger out and completed a rough draft of my list.

However, I've stupidly left it on my work laptop so will post it Monday. When I do, please feel free to comment and point out all the great films that I've missed out.

Wow! Nearly 2 years ago that was. Just reminded me of Pulp Fiction actually so that now knocks 28 days later straight off that new list. Which reminds me that I've still got to watch my Steelbook Blu that arrived the other day

Just been looking at my list in this thread.

It'd probably still be the same...except it's possible that Videodrome may have slipped back in, pushing The Scarlet Empress down the number 11...but the next time I watch The Scarlet Empress this will probably reverse...again!

Yup, same here 5 months on. The top 10 is probably the same at least. Reckon there'd be a bit of shifting titles around beyond that (The Conversation definitely deserves better than #25 ) . . .
