Talking about pointless sequels, how about The Hobbit: Desolation of Smaug and The Battle of Five Armies. The whole book, in which not a lot happens can easily fit into a single 3hr movie.

I'd no idea The Ghost (1963) was the sequel to the previous years The Horrible Dr. Hichcock. The Ghost would have definitely made my top 10. |
