Much better than those Alien Vs. Predator films.
Inspector Ron pressing record on his IPhone and accidentally dropping it down the loo is better than Aliens vs. Predator: Requiem.

In defence of Mr Harker.

I barely ever watch Alien films. I'm not the biggest fan of them at all. I can probably count on one hand the number of times i've seen Alien or Aliens. In fact i could probably lose a finger or two in a bet with Tarantino and still have fingers to spare in the case of Aliens.

I'm actually not overly keen on Aliens either and could also count the number of times I've seen it on one hand. For me it falls into the same arena as Dawn of the Dead - a sequel to a solid horror film that they tried to turn into more of an action film.

I love the original Alien though - It would easily sit in my Top 50 films of all time... perhaps even Top 20.

I just generally dislike Jeunet and carots films. Style over substance with no real depth to them...

I'm afraid i find Alien to be a little flat, i don't dislike it but the few times I've watched it i find myself clockwatching. Aliens is better but i actually prefer Finchers Alien3 and Jeunets Resurrection.

Interesting topic.

This will take some thinking about.

The banner at the top of the homepage gave it all away Nordy.
