I suppose could fit quite well too.

To be honest the only films I consider proper Noir are the '40s-'60s US crime thrillers of the classic era, anything else just isn't 'Noir' to me (a few notable exceptions aside).
LA Confidential?

Which to be fair was made to emulate the essence and mood of the classic Noir film in the first place. Ditto The Man Who Wasn't There and the highly entertaining spoof Dead Men Don't Wear Plaid.

I discussed this weeks topic with my missus earlier. She's suggesting some Audrey Hepburn film called How To Steal a Million.

Brilliant film. I suspect your missus has better taste than you. more of a comedy than crime really.

You should watch it.

Judging by that comedy shelf of yours you and her probably enjoy a lot of the same sort of claptrap.

Come back and mock when you've seen some crime films.

I was thinking about possible topics for upcoming weeks and spoof, parody, and satirical films like that, Mel Brooks' films such as Young Frankenstein, Blazing Saddles, Spaceballs, Silent Movie and Robin Hood: Men in Tights, Trey Parker's Team America: World Police. Others such as Repossessed, Airplane!, Naked Gun, Monty Python and The Holy Grail and Hot Shots! would also fit the bill.

Spoofs and Parodies sounds fun.

Cradle of Fear
A Clockwork Orgy
Bruno Mattei's Island of the Living Dead
Van Helsing

It could be an endless list.
