Hey, fair point with the anal hardcore, but I'm not the one who enjoys Twishite and its prequel The Lost Boys!

anyway...

...I managed it!

1. Twin Peaks
2. The X-Files
3. The Twilight Zone (The Original Series)
4. Arrested Development
5. Futurama
6. The Outer Limits (The Original Series)
7. The Hunger
8. Masters of Horror
9. Family Guy
10. Sliders

If this had been British shows, I could probably have listed a top 50.

I've seen a few episodes, but not enough to really form an opinion on it one way or the other as yet. It is a show I want to delve deeper into though, so I guess it must have had a positive effect on me overall.

You could find yourself sleeping with the fishes.

I decided only to include TV shows which are no longer running, so they can be judged in their entirety, thus ruling out Game of Thrones, The Walking Dead, Bates Motel, Fargo and The Strain. Here's my list:
  1. The Wire
  2. The Sopranos
  3. Mad Men
  4. Breaking Bad
  5. Boardwalk Empire
  6. Six Feet Under
  7. True Blood
  8. The X-Files
  9. The Twilight Zone
  10. Battlestar Galactica

Honourable mentions to Lost, Heroes, Band of Brothers and The Pacific, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles, Alias, CarnivÃ*le, Deadwood, ER, Masters of Horror, The Outer Limits, Roswell, 24, Sons of Anarchy, The 4400, Pushing Daisies, In Treatment, The West Wing, and House MD.

Top 10 US tv shows.

Buffy the Vampire Slayer (1997–03)
The Shield (2002-08)
Alias (2001-06)
Angel (1999-04)
Smallville (2001-11)
Sex and the City (1998-04)
Friends (1994-04)
Babylon 5 (1994-98)
Sons of Anarchy (2008-14)
Stargate SG-1 (1997-07)

I decided my criteria would be shows i've seen completely. Sons of Anarchy is the exception but i do own the full series, i'm just saving the final two to watch in one mid summer blast.

Sadly this criteria meant no place for Dallas (Only own up to season 5), Miami Vice (season 2), Dukes of Hazzard (season 3), The Simpsons (season 10), Curb Your Enthusiasm (season 6) and The West Wing (Own it all but am only half way through Bartlett's term).
