I have a friend who defends as a very good series as long as you understand it's nothing like the first. I'm excited to see it with such polarizing opinions

As for how it fell so flat, it's because HBO rushed him to make another season after the success of the first, when the first was in development a lot longer. HBO have actually come out and admitted that True Detective will only work if they allow the show runner to take his time and do things his pace, which is why there hasn't been a third season yet.

I thought it had been cancelled altogether? Series 2 is definitely very different to the first, very generic, incredibly slow and dull. Be interesting to see what you think when you've seen it mind. That said i only watched half the series because it was so poor.

8 Person of Interest (new entry!)
9 Angel

I thought we weren't allowed comedy shows.

Initially we weren't but i think it slipped through the net in the confusion. Makes no odds to me as i think the majority of American comedy is rather naff.

Don Dem proclaimed that all US TV shows would be valid... and you don't mess with The Don.

I'm glad as I doubt I'd be able to list a top 10 otherwise.

We can still do a top ten comedy at some stage but i feel it should be just that. Top ten comedy rather than US or UK comedy.

It's up to he who wields the hammer though.

I've only seen AHS 1-3 so far, but i enjoyed them all.
Coven i disliked to begin with but it grew on me.
Asylum is actually my favourite, it's totally nuts, but that's probably due to the possessed kinky nun, but hey i have a thing about nuns.

Whats not to like?

The cover of the first series alone piqued my interest...
