I had no idea that some of those were based on graphic novels.

I may be able to do a Top 10 after all.

In approximate order, these are my favourite films based on comic books and graphic novels:
  1. A History of Violence
  2. Ghost World
  3. 30 Days of Night
  4. Oldboy
  5. American Splendor
  6. Road to Perdition
  7. Flash Gordon
  8. Danger: Diabolik
  9. Snowpiercer
  10. Barbarella

I think I'll work on a 'superhero' list based on the Marvel/DC type of 'traditional' comic book films in a bit.

You swine, Nos. I was hoping to be the first one to use Danger: Diabolik.

You snooze, you lose!

It happens to be one of my favourite Mario Bava movies as well.
