I'm easy mate. I thought it would make for some interesting lists given quite a few aren't big fans of the current wham bang marvel/dc building bashing stuff. Maybe i was wrong, best stay quiet in future.

It's a decent topic and the lists so far have shown a lot of variation,with mixes of graphic novels, older comics and the current marvel/D.c bunch.

As ever with these lists it has to be open to personal interpretation to some degree. You were right with Darkman for instance, its not based on a comic or a graphic novel but to my mind its still inspired by those things. And lets be honest a lot of the Marvel and DC films seem to deviate from the source material so much they're more inspired by rather than based on.

True, a lot of the superhero films can't even get the costumes right.
A know a lot of that is to do with what looks more realistic, but it annoys me a little when they totally deviate from the source.
Electro in Spiderman/Rhino for instance, Wolverine, Hawkeye all bear little resemblance to the original look.

The problem is if we start counting superhero films then the majority aren't actually based on comics or graphic novels, so we in effect lose a separate weeks category of superhero movies.
