That just shows that the beret / gas mask look must be in favour with the critics this season - 'steampunk gimp chic' or the like. Maybe I'll get invited to some fancy critic parties and be able to hob-nob around the canapes.

I have to admit that the retro looks are always the best.

Did I miss the fashion memo that said Nazi chic was the "in thing" this season?

Is it a case of 'fascism is the new black' or something else?

Frankenstein and Bride of Frankenstein for example fit the bill but Frankenstein and the Monster From Hell didn't.

It's just the same principle, surely.
Must have missed this post earlier. No the top ten films based on literature was done before i found this thread. As far as I'm concerned every film ever there was containing Victor Frankenstein or one of his creations is based on Mary Shelley's Frankenstein. Same with Dracula. Or **** me on a Friday, Batman.

Obviously the '**** me on a Friday' bit is entirely optional and very very subject to terms and conditions.

Beware the Sophisticated Super Gimp when you say rash things like that. Every day is Friday to him!

I am still trying to figure out what Gimpman's super power is...the ability to be excessively beaten and buggered isn't really going to stop much crime or defeat Super Villains.
