When it comes to Indiana Jones, Raiders of the Lost Ark is technically the best of the bunch, with Kingdom of the Crystal Skull at the bottom of the pile. However, when it comes to the acting, plotting, and quotable dialogue in the script, The Last Crusade is impossible to top.

Just so we're clear here Nos I'm not having a go at all. I think your academic approach is fascinating but my favourite Indy film is Last Crusade, based primarily on the fact I enjoy it the most.

Lost Ark
Crystal Skull
Temple of Doom.

That's the first and last time anyone will ever describe Raiders - the ultimate boys own, Saturday matinee, adventure serial turned rip roaring cinema film - as arthouse.

I do like Crystal Skull, it's a bit daft in places but still good fun. I even hope they do another. Harrison Ford could just about pull it off one last time...but they will have to be quick.

As long as they work with his age and not try and hide it i reckon it would work. The Unforgiven of the series.
