And don't be so bloody pedantic. I was heavily inebriated in 2002. Last edited by J Harker; 26th January 2017 at 08:01 AM. |

New to the forum? REC (FF) Lorna (Franco) Martin (Romero) Bride Of Frankenstein (B&W) Black Sabbath (Bava) Black Christmas (Slasher) Twisted Nerve (UK) Pans Labyrinth (non UK) Braindead (black comedy) Persona (horror isn't just about gore or jump scares imho)

Some good choices there, Demoncrat. I'm honestly struggling with this one and may have to make multiple lists! |

I think two lists are almost essential for this topic b-eye. One for horror newbies and one for forum newbies. I would expect horror newbies in this day and age to be familiar with the modern stuff like the Saw films and The Conjuring and it's ilk but not necessarily so familiar with the origins of the genre. Whereas forum newbies probably have a decent knowledge of the genre basics already and would be looking to expand their horizons.

I'll try and get my second list done tonight, it will consist of some more obscure (at least they were to me) titles that someone new to the forum might well not have seen or as was true in my case not even heard of.

Thanks to the people who submitted lists last week. I nearly forgot about this weeks topic until reminded by Bizarre_Eye. Pity he couldn't remind himself to post a top 10. (Sorry, B_E...couldn't resist) This weeks subject is....Demons and Hell. |
