Good list Prince. Love The Great Silence, would look amazing on a decent blu, and Josey Wales in probably my favourite western.

Great topic. It's really tough to get to only 10 but, in order, here they are:
  • Monty Python and the Holy Grail
  • Monty Python's Life of Brian
  • The Seventh Seal
  • Brave
  • The Last of the Mohicans
  • Barry Lyndon (I know some of it is set after 1800, but it begins in the 18th century)
  • The Seven Samurai
  • Apocalypto
  • Aguirre: The Wrath of God
  • Army of Darkness

My reserve list of 10:
The Navigator
The Secret of Kells
Henry V
The Sword in the Stone
Kingdom of Heaven
The Adventures of Robin Hood
Gladiator
Kwaidan
Ran
Onibaba

The Navigator is a great film which I last saw it on a disc which also included Vincent Ward's earlier film Vigil. It really needs a good, all region Blu-ray release.

Another great turnout last week folks, nice one.

I'm in a bit of a rush so this week we'll go back to a year.

Top 10 Films of 1984 or if you'd prefer 1965.

The choice is yours...you can of course do both years.

I think I'd struggle with 1965, so I'll do a list for 1984 later
