The Italian Job is another great classic film, the remake however is utter shite

I didn't mind the remake to be honest. It was just a thriller though. Bugger all to do with the Caine film.

Seriously, The Great Escape is a great film with a superb ensemble cast, one of the all-time great themes and Steve McQueen at his coolest.

As for the Death Wish remake, I am not at all interested because I have the DVD of the original and can't see this bringing anything new to the table.

I read an article somewhere with Roth wanking on about bringing back classic Bruce Willis and this being a return to form for the actor. Which is fine. But doesn't fit at all with the concept of the original Death Wish.

Doesn't matter anyway, with Eli Roth directing it most people will hate it without seeing it, seeing as he's not everyone's cup of tea
