Love that gif by the way. If you watch it and look at it properly it's pretty fearsome.

Which says a lot about Christopher Lee's presence given not many could carry that off.

Definitely.

I'm looking forward to revisiting a lot of Hammer films, especially the first 5 Dracula's during October.

I know, it has seemed quick. Must be due to the brilliant summer we've had.

I'm trying not to watch much horror this month as next month will be a Hammer / Halloween / Universal / Pumpkinhead / Lewton extravaganza.

I had no idea this was a vampire film. I always thought it was a fairytale, Valerie sort of film. I should really pick it up.

It is very much like Valerie in feel but done on the cheap but does have a Vampire in it amongst the oddness.

Taste the Blood of Dracula is the first Hammer film I remember being allowed to watch as a kid and Near Dark had to be first on the list before all the Loser Boys fans get posting.
