While I can probably do a list for both Affleck and Kidman, it will be top ten films I like that they happen to be in. I can think of only two, maybe three films that actually benefit from Afflecks performance. Same goes for Kidman. Two average stars that have been lucky enough to be in some good films. Have to see about Hackman, for a long time i wasn't a fan. One of those actors that just played themselves in everything.

I quite like 'The Others' myself.

Great list, D.

Hackman's a class (or three) above Affleck and Kidman.

I rate it very highly and it's one of my favourite haunted house movies from this century. I really like the aesthetic and storytelling sensibilities of the Spanish filmmakers with whom Guillermo Del Toro is associated: Alejandro AmenĂ¡bar (The Others, The Sea inside), J. A. Bayona (The Orphanage) and Guillerm Morales (Julia's Eyes).

They don't have to be films in which Affleck and Kidman are great, just films in which they appear (or directed/wrote/produced) which you like.

He's a great actor and it's going to be tough to a list of 10.

I highly rate Ben Affleck's abilities in front and behind the camera, although his brother (going by The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford, Gone Baby Gone, The Killer Inside Me and Manchester by the Sea) may be a more accomplished actor capable of truly great things.

I thought everybody loved The Others, I however fell asleep watching it in the cinema and have no desire to watch it again, absolute snooze fest!

I was never a fan of Ben Affleck till I watched Dogma and Hollywoodland slowly warmed upto him.
