Yeah, I briefly considered adding the Exorcist to my list, but seeing as it’s really only one scene, I didn’t think it fit the criteria

I considered it but it's not really a film about filmmaking, but one where there are several scenes with one of the main characters being involved in acting, something which disappears from the narrative after (approximately) the first act.

Thanks everyone for your list of Films about Filmmaking (I'm still perfecting mine). This week, it's another fairly wide topic, with the only criteria being that a main character is engaged in espionage.
