I saw it when it was first released (or shortly after) and thought it was excellent. I also saw the Canadian documentary The Corporation, which would be of interest to anyone who thought the film about Enron was informative and enlightening. If you don't want to buy the DVD or if it's not on Netflix or Amazon (I haven't checked), it's on YouTube:

Easy Rider is the total opposite of this weeks topic. Just because there's a drug deal at the beginning.

I think that the bikers stoop to the level of drug dealers to fund their trip to Mardi Gras and for that reason Fonda says "we blew it", when they go to Mardi gras and pick up the prostitutes and have a hedonistic blow out.
They sold their souls for money.
I guess this is just a personal interpretation.

Yes but the only reason they did the drug deal was to leave behind what they felt were the worst excesses of America and basically to go back to the open road. In relation to this weeks topic it just doesn't fit. You may as well include Charlie and the Chocolate Factory because it includes the sale and purchase of a chocolate bar.

I've edited my top 8 and made it a true top 10 now with the addition of Larceny, Inc. and One, Two, Three.

I did think of Charlie. after all it is a business.

I thought the Easy rider one was a bit iffy that's why i left it out the original top ten.

It's not like because they spent some of the money on whores they'd suddenly turned into a pair of Gordon Gecko's on motorcycles.
