I wouldn't class the film Dr Who is portrayed by Peter Cushing is a superhero. He is not a shape shifting alien as in the TV series, but an elderly and eccentric inventor.

The Doctor isn't a superhero.

What superhero powers does he have? I've yet to see the Doctor chuck someone through a building, fly or run at breakneck speed.

He's just a human like alien with two hearts who can change his body 12 times when at the point of death in order to keep a series going when the lead actor calls it quits.

Yep but neither does batman or black widow, so it's quite hard too say what really makes a superhero apart from powers.But the doctor does regenerate and is super intelligent so you could say he is.

definitely should be no characters like superman , but saying that I would always take batman over superman .

Must admit i've always thought of superheroes as characters who have their origins in comic books rather than tv or film.

Basically because the drawn picture could show things that film and tv at one stage couldn't dream of doing.
