Does that say something about screenwriters and how they are different from directors or high-profile actors?

Thanks to everyone who contributed a list of their favourite films written by prolific Italian screenwriter Dardano Sacchetti.

The topic for this week is again devoted to one filmmaker, a man who has been making films in the 1970s, won the Best Director Oscar twice, and is showing no signs of slowing down.

STEVEN SPIELBERG FILMS

The problem here was which do i like best out of two almost perfect movies in Raiders of the Lost Ark and Jaws?

Two of my top ten movies of all time.

Schindler's List should probably be higher as far as film making goes but i don't find it as pleasurable to watch as those i ranked above it.

Think of a scenario in which you were given three hours to live and could only watch one of them – which one would you choose?

Casablanca.

Good question... probably Raiders as i did eventually put that top.

Mr.Barlow hasn't even listed Raiders.

He seems to think Hook is better.

I'm thinking of giving him an infraction on grounds of stupidity.

Steven Spielberg stuff.

raiders_of_the_lost_ark_ver1_1024x1024@2x.jpg

Duel
Jaws
1941 (I do really like this)
E.T
Raiders Of The Lost Ark
Indiana Jones And The Temple Of Doom
Indiana Jones And The Last Crusade
Jurassic Park
Schindler’s List
A.I Artificial Intelligence (only seen once but i remember liking it.)

Still never seen Close encounters and i’m not really a fan of heavy historical drama’s (but had to include SL as it’s an undeniably powerful and important film).
Also not a fan of Tom Hanks or Tom Cruise so that rules a few films out.
To be honest i much prefer his earlier fantasy based stuff.

Also thought about including The Goonies and Poltergeist which had a hand in creating the stories but not directing, but thought i’d just stick to the basics.

Also kinda wanted to include Twilight Zone but lets be honest his story is not one of the better ones.

I prefer Temple of Doom to Raiders of the lost Ark, no disrespect I did enjoy it but Temple of Doom was one watched constantly and was a coin toss between that and The Last Crusade, as for this infraction...bring it on I shall never take it quietly

STEVEN SPIELBERG FILMS
  1. Jaws
  2. Jurassic Park
  3. Raiders of the Lost Ark
  4. E.T.the Extra-Terrestrial
  5. Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade
  6. Bridge of Spies
  7. Close Encounters of the Third Kind
  8. Schindler's List

It was really tough to only list 10 films and even tougher to put these in order of preference
