That's some achievement. Especially if you've seen Terry Kilburn in the 1938 version.

I'll need to check that out. The "acting" of the boy in the 1999 version is so bad I fast forward my dvd whenever he speaks.

The 38 version is like watching Miley Cyrus play Tiny Tim faking a clipped English accent. |

Just watched a little of it on youtube. "I'd like to stroke it"......the 1938 version wins!

I always watch a couple of BBC Ghost Stories For Christmas this time of year. This time: A WARNING TO THE CURIOUS An archaeologist digs up a medieval crown, unaware of its cursed history in this excellent tale. I don’t know how they did it, but these tales are just perfect in their execution, and this one ranks as one of the very best. STIGMA More cursed history, as a stone is dug up uncovering something sinister, in this more contemporary tale, adding some gore and topless nudity. Despite being a more modern take on the ghost story, it still has that unmistakable eerie feel that makes all of these tales classic tv. |

All The Creatures Were Stirring. 2018. A couple on a first date go to the theatre and are shown four shows based on the festive season. The Stockings Were Hung. Employees at a firm celebrating a office party turns deadly. Dash All The Way. Eric makes a last pit stop at a shop only to be locked out of his car, two women help him but comes at a price. All Through The House. A man who hates Christmas is being haunted Arose Came A Clatter A man travelling back home hits a reindeer only for him and his wife to be attacked by it's spirit. In A Twinkling A group of friends decide to have dinner only for it to take a turn involving a star and a woman feels resentment. This was not the greatest Christmas film anthology, One felt like a Christmas version of The Belko Experiment and one was definitely a horror version of A Christmas Carol, The acting was decent but the ending really didn't make any sense and poorly executed. p16145492_v_h9_aa.jpg

Red Christmas. 2016. A mother tries to protect her family from a home invader at Christmas. This film feels like it was made in the 80s, and someone's mother was tripping on LSD while pregnant to come up with this idea. Dee Wallace stars as the over protective mother with one or two secrets while someone is trying to off the family. The gore does show up but the killings look very comedic. This is not the best Christmas horror film but it's not the worst either. 91sTKo9OTQL._SY445_.jpg

Axemas. 2017. Three couples decide to have a Christmas party in a storage facility building only to be stalked and killed. Looks like I have gone back to watch crappy films again, it seemed like a good idea, party in a building, killer Santa what could go wrong? Based on a short film that got extended to 56 minutes running time with parts that make so frickin' sense, really bad acting and me loosing my sanity after loosing that length of time wasted. I really gotta stay away from these YouTube movies that get recommended to me. MV5BNDgxNjAyYzctMDYwNS00YWM0LWE0NzAtNGYyZTIyN2E5YjhlXkEyXkFqcGdeQXVyMzc5NjM5OTE@._V1_.jpg

A Castle For Christmas (2021, Mary Lambert) See the poster? Doesn't it just make you want to kill all humans?? Ahem. Watched as a bet, this mawkish cheesepuff features Elwes outdoing his turn in that Black Christmas reabort for sheer gall and not much else. Sheilds now resembles a drag version of herself imho. Never again.
